1. increase familiarity with available classroom technologies
   1. each participant will write summary of benefits/limitations of one technology
   2. each participant will identify one technology they plan to incorporate into a class they teach
2. make connections between technology use and pedagogy
   1. read article about pedagogical application of technology
   2. discuss how technology facilitated pedagogy
   3. identify other pedagogies appropriate for the technology
   4. each participant will identify a journal that publishes pedagogical article in his/her discipline
3. create a community of first-adopters regarding classroom technologies
   1. meet other faculty who are using/interested in classroom technology
   2. create online communication tool
   3. each participant expected to post at least one comment per month
4. disseminate information about classroom technologies to University faculty
   1. create poster for Spring teaching showcase
   2. each participant should present one technology at departmental faculty meeting
